I have been teaching for over a decade, both privately and in the classroom. I cater lessons to each individual student, to keep them engaged and excited about the music they play. I incorporate a variety of styles and genres into my curriculum.

I use a combination of the Suzuki method, Creative Artistic Development (CAD), and Schradieck to develop strong technique and artistry.
For those who haven't yet decided which instrument to commit to, music theory lessons are a great place to begin. Filled with fun games and activities to learn to read and write music, this is a great class for all ages.
In piano lessons, I use the Hanon technique books as well as the Piano Adventures series. I incorporate different genres into lessons (pop, rock) to keep students engaged and excited.

From strengthening your belt for pop or musical theater, to improving your overall technique, I will cater lessons to your needs! I incorporate Alexander Technique principles into lessons as well as Linklater technique to release tension and let go of bad habits.
