Ramblin' Rose at Sierra Rep

Lauren joins 4 other multi-instrumentalists from New York City in Ramblin’ Rose at Sierra Repertory Theatre. The show is distinguished by tight harmonies, sizzling solos, and passion for bringing more female artists to the spotlight. This dynamic group is sure to have you toe tapping, clapping, and singing along to the Queens of Country and Folk!

Fiddler on the Roof returns!

November 13, 2022 to January 1st, 2023

National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene's Drama Desk Award–winning Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish will return to Off-Broadway at New World Stages. The production of the classic musical is presented in Yiddish with English supertitles.

Temple Emanu-El invites you to a special Festival of Lights Shabbat service that will feature a performance of Chanukah songs, as well as “Sabbath Prayer” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” by Steven Skybell, who played Tevye in the recent National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene production of Fiddler on the Roof, Jennifer Babiak, who played Golde, and Lauren Jeanne Thomas, der fidler. Songs for a New World

Lauren joins a star-studded cast (Jason gotay, Liz Callaway, and more) for New City Music Theatre's production of "Songs for a New World" at Radial Park in Queens.

Hava Tequila Cabaret

February 24-28, 2021 (online)

To celebrate Purim, the Folksbiene will be presenting a series of online concerts and events. Lauren will be performing in the online cabaret, "Hava Tequila" in which she will be playing violin and singing. It will premiere February 24th at 7PM ET, and run until Sunday the 28th. You will see special greetings from Carol Burnett and cameo appearances by Emanuel Azenberg, Mayim Bialik, Billy Crystal, Tovah Feldshuh, Beanie Feldstein, Joel Grey, Jackie Hoffman, Carol Kane, Barry Manilow, Mandy Patinkin, Itzhak Perlman, Eleanor Reissa, Neil Sedaka, Steven Skybell, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and Jerry Zaks. Lauren will be performing with some of her cast mates from the Yiddish Fiddler on the Roof. Tickets are FREE - donations encouraged in support of NYTF. 

Live From Quarantine!

Lauren will join a group of talented performers for Table Top Broadway's Live From Quarantine's event this Wednesday. Artists will be performing from their homes in quarantine to share some live entertainment! All proceeds go to supporting artists and G.L.I.T.S.

On the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, we gathered in the historic Temple Emanu-El sanctuary to commemorate that liberation, to underscore the commitment of the Jewish community to never forget and to continue the struggle against anti-Semitism and all forms of racial and ethnic hatred. World-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman headlined this very special musical event and was joined by Joel Grey with the cast and orchestra of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish.

Red Bucket Follies 2019

Along with other Broadway and Off-Broadway show, Fiddler helped to raise over 5 million dollars for BCEFA this year! AND they took home the prize for best skit at this year's Red Bucket Follies!
