Lauren will join a group of talented performers for Table Top Broadway's Live From Quarantine's event this Wednesday. Artists will be performing from their homes in quarantine to share some live entertainment! All proceeds go to supporting artists and G.L.I.T.S.

On the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, we gathered in the historic Temple Emanu-El sanctuary to commemorate that liberation, to underscore the commitment of the Jewish community to never forget and to continue the struggle against anti-Semitism and all forms of racial and ethnic hatred. World-renowned violinist Itzhak Perlman headlined this very special musical event and was joined by Joel Grey with the cast and orchestra of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish.

Along with other Broadway and Off-Broadway show, Fiddler helped to raise over 5 million dollars for BCEFA this year! AND they took home the prize for best skit at this year's Red Bucket Follies!

Our Yiddish production of Fiddler on the Roof won the Off-Broadway Alliance award for Best Revival of a Musical! Now in its ninth year, the awards honor commercial and not-for-profit productions. A winners' ceremony will take place on June 18 at Sardi's.

Winners were announced for the 69th annual Outer Critics Circle Awards, honoring the best theater on, off- and off-off-Broadway in the 2018-2019 season. The prize for Outstanding Revival of a Musical went to  our Yiddish-language production of Fiddler on the Roof!

After a sold-out run at The Museum of Jewish Heritage, Joel Grey had us take a photo in our final Exodus costumes, looking out at the Statue of Liberty. It was a powerful way to end our journey at the museum, and I am excited to be continuing with the production in February up-town at Stage 42!

Lauren will make her off-Broadway debut in the National Yiddish Theatre's production of The Fiddler on the Roof, as the Fiddler! Jackie Hoffman, Steven Skybell, and Jill Abramovitz will lead this summer's American premiere of the Yiddish-language adaptation of Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Oscar and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey (along with an all-star creative team). Lauren will be performing in one of the 15min musical readings at the Musical Theatre Factory, "The Passion of Reverend Yolanda"! Book by Justin Taylor, directed by Shaun Peknic. It will be presented with 3 other new musicals on Friday, March 16 at Playwright's Horizons Downtown.

Theatre Barn’s original core program is the New Works Series, an incubator of new musicals now in its 10th season. New Works Series presents bi-monthly, “pre-premieres” of untold stories in the early stages of development. As the primary incubator, Theatre Barn serves as the first curator and developer of these untold stories. They consider more than 100 new musicals each year before choosing the twelve eclectic stories to present. On the evening of Nov 6th, The Goree All-Girl String Band will be one of them!

Artie Sievers and Michael Bradley, writers of The Goree All-Girl String Band, are the UK KSF Artists of Choice Musical Theater recipients for 2017.  Recipients were selected by an industry panel including Maury Yeston, Melanie Person, Killian Donnelly and David Klass. This is big news for our NYMF show, which opens July 24!

Get ready for a big reunion of the cast members from Broadway's Once at Rockwood Music Hall on August 7th! I will be joining my cast mates from the national tour, along with cast members from every US production of the show. We'll play some of our favorite music from Once, and we'll be raising money for VH1 Save the Music Foundation!

This July, Lauren will be performing in the NYMF 2017 production of The Goree All-Girl String Band! Inspired by a true story, THE GOREE ALL-GIRL STRING BAND is a tale of redemption that features an ensemble of actor-musicians performing a brand new country score by Artie Sievers and Michael Bradley. The show was shortlisted for a Kevin Spacey Foundation award, and Lauren and some of her cast mates performed for the highly esteemed panel of judges. Help us make the show possible by donating here!
